Our products form a chemically resistant barrier to prevent exposure to water and oxygen that would cause steel to corode

Corrosion Under Insulation (C.U.I.) is a severe form of external corrosion that occurs when steel equipment becomes corroded by water being collected or absorbed by the insulation protecting it.

SPI Performance Coatings’ polyurea coatings are applied to the steel equipment to form a chemically resistant barrier thereby preventing exposure to water and oxygen that would cause steel to corrode. This treatment can be applied to both new and in-use assets, to prevent or slow down the effects of corrosion.

We have over 40 years experience working in sectors such as Oil & Gas to mitigate and eliminate corrosion in the most challenging of environments.

We have access to the worlds finest coatings technologies, and offer a full bespoke support service including recommendations, training of staff and installing machinery packages through to full project management and on site presence. Our NACE trained staff can guide and assist in project development and implementation as well as help with the self auditing of systems. Call now.
